ORB PRIVATE PILOT

Orb is designed to capture thoughts at moments when stopping to write them down would get in the way. That also means Orb may contain information that is personal, sensitive or related to your work. Before using the private pilot, please understand how your information is handled and what you should — and should not — use Orb for during this early stage.
What Orb captures
When you create a Spark, Orb may process information associated with that Spark, including your voice recording, a transcript of what you said, information Orb derives from the Spark such as whether it represents a task, information or a decision, connections to areas or initiatives, corrections you make to Orb’s interpretation, and technical information needed to understand whether the pilot is working correctly. The original Spark is intended to remain the source of truth while Orb helps structure and develop what you captured.
This is an early pilot
Orb is still under active development. Errors can happen: Orb may misunderstand what you said, create an incorrect transcript, classify a Spark incorrectly, connect a Spark to the wrong area or initiative, fail to recognize a task or decision, or fail technically during capture or processing. If something like this happens, capture a feedback Spark by saying “I want to give Orb feedback…” followed by what happened.
Pilot feedback and product improvement
Feedback from real use is an important part of the Orb pilot. When you intentionally create a feedback Spark, it may be used to understand what happened and improve Orb. Normal Sparks and Sparks intentionally created as product feedback are distinct.

Please be careful with confidential information during the pilot.
Orb is an early pilot product. Do not use Orb for information that your employer, client or another person does not permit you to process using the pilot. Only capture information you are permitted to capture and process. Be especially careful when a Spark contains information about other people, your employer, customers or confidential business matters.
